Should I Rent a Car?

Peachtree Road United Methodist Church is located in Atlanta’s Buckhead neighborhood. There is limited parking on location. Many hotels and restaurants lie within walking distance. Attendees without cars will find Uber, Lyft, and other rideshare and taxi services readily available in Atlanta, and can find information about local buses, trains, and street cars at the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority website, itsmarta.com.

There are several transportation options to reach the venue or your hotel from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL):​

  • Shuttle services are available from ATL, with a maximum fare of $30 per person. Pick-up for these shuttles is at the Shared-Ride Shuttle Aisle, located in the Ground Transportation Center on the west end of the Domestic Terminal. 
  • Traditional taxi services, as well as Uber and Lyft, offer transportation from ATL to Buckhead. Estimated fares for rideshare services range from approximately $23 to $30 for standard options like UberX or Lyft, with higher fares for larger or premium vehicles. 
  • The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) provides train service from ATL to Buckhead. The Red Line departs from the airport’s MARTA station and stops at the Buckhead Station, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the church.​
