General Conference Information
Are Refunds Available?

In-Person Ticket Refunds
In-person ticket refund requests before February 28, 2025, qualify for a 50% refund which includes online access.

Beginning March 1, 2025, no refund will be issued for in-person tickets. You will have the option to either:

  • Transfer the ticket to someone else before Wednesday, April 30, 2025
  • Attend the conference via online access


Online Access Ticket Refunds
Online access tickets are not transferable nor eligible for a refund.

Group Ticket Refunds
Group tickets will not be refunded, but may be transferred to a new registrant by contacting us directly at festival@luthersem.edu.

Why Do You Charge What You Charge For the Conference?
We are committed to offering affordable tickets while maintaining the Festival’s quality. By partnering with generous host churches and seminaries, we keep costs down. We also believe in paying our speakers, artists, and musicians equitably and justly.

Are Scholarships Available?
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer scholarships this year.

Are Installment Plans Available?
Unfortunately, our platforms do not allow us to offer installment plans this year.

What If My Flight Is Canceled or Delayed?
While we can’t offer refunds for travel issues, your in-person registration includes online access. This allows you to catch up on any missed content from the comfort of your location. We are here to ensure you don’t miss out, regardless of travel challenges.

Is There a Discount for Seminarians?
Active, full-time seminarians, we’ve got you covered!
Enjoy a 50% discount on in-person registration.
To claim:

  1. Email festival@luthersem.edu with proof of full-time enrollment
  2. Receive your exclusive discount code
  3. Apply your code during registration

Discount applies to in-person events only, not online access. Discount must be used at time of purchase. We’re thrilled to support your journey in professional development!

Are Group Discounts Available?
Get a 10% discount off the current registration price when you register a group of 10 or more. Visit our 2025 Festival of Homiletics Group Registration Page to register your group.

Are CEUs Awarded to Participants?
A Verification of Contact Hours document showing the contact hours available will be emailed to all participants following the event. Typically, one CEU is equivalent to ten contact hours.

What is Included In the Online Access Ticket?
Online access benefits:

  • Livestream events from both speaking areas
  • Watch recordings until August 15, 2025
  • Access all lectures and sermons

Full worship service recordings and workshops will not be available. Enjoy flexible viewing to fit your schedule!

How Do I Upgrade My Ticket From Online Access to In-Person?
Contact festival@luthersem.edu if you have purchased on online access ticket and would like to attend in person.

Are Refunds Available for Online Access Tickets?
No refunds will be issued for online access tickets, but you will have access to the recordings on the Festival platform until August 15, 2025.

How Do I Access My Recordings?
We will announce how to access your recordings within one week after the Festival of Homiletics closing sessions.

When Will the Recordings Be Available?
Recordings will be available on the Festival platform within one week after the speaker’s session.

How Long Will the Conference Recordings Be Available?
Until August 15, 2025.

Can I Purchase One Online Access Ticket and Stream to a Group?
We ask that each member of a group purchase the online access ticket so that every group member has access to the recordings until August 15, 2025. Groups of 10 or more purchasing via the 2025 Festival of Homiletics Group Registration Page will receive a 10% discount off the current ticket price.

 

Are Meals Included?
We’re delighted to offer complimentary light snacks and freshly brewed coffee for your enjoyment during the morning breaks. While full meals aren’t provided, please be on the lookout for more local cuisine options on our website.

Can I Bring My Kids?
We ask that you arrange your childcare, as childcare will not be provided by the Festival of Homiletics.

Where Are Host Venue Locations?
For 2025, Festival of Homiletics will be hosted by Peachtree Road United Methodist Church. See the Location page of our website for more information.

Should I Rent a Car?
Atlanta has Uber, Lyft, and taxicab services available. Please consider using alternate forms of transportation if possible. 

Additionally, the Marta line offers transportation from the ATL airport to Buckhead: Marta Train Stations and Schedules.

Where Should I Stay?
The Festival will not be partnering with a housing provider for the 2025 event.

We encourage attendees to explore all available resources when seeking accommodations that align with their budget and preferences. Use popular mapping services such as Google Maps, MapQuest, or Apple Maps to locate hotels near the venue, or for a comprehensive comparison of options, we recommend leveraging travel platforms – including but not limited to AirBNB and Kayak – to find the most suitable accommodations for your stay.

I’m Traveling From Outside of the US. Does the Festival of Homiletics Provide a Letter of Invitation?
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide Letters of Invitation for the Festival of Homiletics.

How Do I Upgrade My Ticket From Online Access to In-Person?
Contact festival@luthersem.edu if you have purchased an online ticket and would like to attend in person.

How Do I Change My In-Person Ticket to Online Access?
Your in-person ticket includes online access to the Festival, including live streaming and access to recordings until August 15, 2025. Before February 28, 2025, you can request to downgrade from in-person to online access for a 50% refund.

Beginning March 1, 2025, no refund will be issued for in-person tickets. You will have the option to either:

  • Transfer the ticket to someone else before April 30, 2025
  • Attend the conference via online access
