Betsy Shirley

Betsy Shirley is the editor in chief of Sojourners, where she leads the publication’s award-winning coverage faith, politics, and culture. Her own work has earned recognition from the Religion News Association, the Associated Church Press, and the American Academy of Religion. Betsy is a graduate of Butler University, the Sojourners Fellowship Program, and Yale Divinity School. She lives in Washington, D.C.
