Biography

Dawn M. Hand is an ordained elder in The United Methodist Church. She welcomes diversity of ideology, political views and theological perspectives. Hand believes humanity has more in common that unites us than differences that separate us.

An engaged communicator and prominent advocate for justice, she has led and collaborated in a variety of local, regional and national initiatives including immigration reform, alleviating children’s poverty, sacred resistance and chronic homelessness/affordable housing.

A self-proclaimed foodie, she enjoys eating, traveling, sports and the great outdoors. She loves spending time with her family. Hand believes God has a sense of humor for calling her into ordained ministry.
