Cynthia Hale

Cynthia Hale is the founding and senior pastor of the Ray of Hope Christian Church in Decatur, Georgia. She earned a Master of Divinity from Duke University and earned a Doctor of Ministry from United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio. Hale established a mentoring program, Elah Pastoral Ministries, Inc , and convened Women in Ministry Conference. Hale was appointed by President Barack Obama to serve on the President’s Commission on White House Fellowships and was inducted into the African American Biographies Hall of Fame. Hale has published “More Power in the Pulpit,” preaching resource series “Feasting on the Gospels,” and “I’m A Piece of Work ”. Hale has received the “Women of Power” award from the National Urban League and earned recognition from Ebony Magazine as an influential leader.
