Biography
Valerie Bridgeman is Associate Professor of Homiletics & Hebrew Bible, as well as Dean & Vice President of Academic Affairs at the Methodist Theological School in Ohio.
She is also the founding president and CEO of WomanPreach, a training organization to help preachers find and hone their prophetic voice. She is a member of several guilds, a regular contributor to Working Preacher, and the author of several articles and essays on preaching and Bible.
She received her Ph.D. from Baylor University in Religion, her M.Div, from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary, and her B.A. in Communication and Religion from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas.
