What a powerful second day of #Homiletics2019! Blessed with beautiful weather, the participants of Festival of Homiletics 2019 were energized with spirited preaching from Rev. Dr. Barber, uplifted with music from the Fleshpots of Egypt during Rolf Jacobson’s workshop, Laughed and learned with Barbara Lundblad, were challenged to reimagine liturgy by Cláudio Carvalhaes, sang with the Fleshpots of Egypt at Beer and Hymns, and much more.
Here are some social media highlights from the day.

If you only preach from the pulpit and not from the public square, I’m sorry to tell you, you are not much of a preacher. – @RevDrBarber #Homiletics2019

And BE Mary and Martha to your colleagues when they’re the ones who need you to enter their death rooms with the spices of life. #Homiletics2019 https://t.co/kNDFkPwt8k

I feel for everyone @FestHomiletics having to choose between lectures by @om3 and @RevDrBarber right now! An embarrassment of riches. #Homiletics2019 pic.twitter.com/1wjqOLjFm9
